Challenge: Creative Loafing Atlanta wanted to produce a fun, easy, clickable solution to their annual ‘Clusterfest’ issue. Normally the feature lists all featured events with separate list for notables and calendar. This year they wanted something visual completely ‘off the norm.’
Solution: I wanted to go with a flat, responsive layout that felt more like an infographic, but dynamically populated by content queries and item counts. We also added a Google map index to round out the one-stop look and feel. The feature we developed to be used for both desktop and mobile platforms.
